Kick-a-thon 2021 to open the Oliver Reese Memorial Fund

Earlier this year we tragically lost 17 year old Oliver Reese. While he was training with Oom Yung Doe, Oliver was a calm steady influence in the practice room. As a 1st Degree Black Belt and a leader on the youth Demonstration Team, Oliver was a role-model to younger students and helped pioneer some of the programs that are now available to other youth students. In honor of Oliver's memory, this year Oom Yung Doe Kirkland, in partnership with Honor and Legacy, is dedicating our Spring Kick-a-thon to raising funds to open the Oliver Reese Memorial Fund.

This fund will support programs designed to give teenagers a safe space to practice, the confidence to resist negative social pressures, and and a sense of community and pride. Through the generous donations of kind individuals like you, we can bring Traditional Martial Arts to more individuals, helping them achieve their greatest potential. Any donations made to sponsor students or support our cause are tax deductible.
